When we look in the mirror today, the person each of us sees is an accumulation of our thoughts and experiences. Beliefs we’ve arrived at in our minds that have become our own truth. For many of us, this truth we’ve formulated over the years has heavily been influenced by what we encounter in life. Social media, cultural imposed limitations, moments of failure, all influencing our mind to help shape who we are and who we think we should be. The way we build our inner self, how we perceive our world, plays such a critical part to our happiness. When the development of our inner self is taken over by outside influences, we move to a feeling of lack of control over situations or outcomes.
My name is Tyler Archer and I believe we all have the ability to take some of this control back. Relationships, career, parenting, health and fitness, spiritually, or whatever priority you may have – we all can take over more control striving for a better tomorrow. I’ve started this site to offer any learnings and perspective I may have to help propel anyone out there working towards their better self. As the African proverb says, if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
The father of positive psychology, Dr. Martin Seligman offers 3 stages in life: Pleasant Life appreciates basic pleasures in life, Good Life explores our unique strengths and qualities, and the final stage, Meaningful Life, takes our uniqueness for a purpose greater than ourselves. Through many challenges, victories, failures, successes, and one crazy pandemic, I’ve reached the inflection point of taking the step to Meaningful Life and want to invite and empower others to join along the way. Come along for the journey and become a part of the Accelerator community to propel one another forward.
