Dreams are meant to be chased. Too often we see those dreams as something too far off in the distance. It can be scary at times, even deflating. All the work, time, sacrifice striving for the person you want to become can be overwhelming. Regardless how far that dream is off in the distance, it will always start with one step.

Each of us owns the decision to take that first step. One step that puts us closer to who we’re striving to be. One step closer to understanding how to achieve our dreams. One step towards uncovering what our authentic recipe for success is.

A year has come and gone since BeAnAccelerator.com went live. The topic of personal growth has always been a passion of mine. As I was reflecting a couple years ago on the impact I was making, I realized there was more opportunity to put myself out there.

We each have our own unique growth journey. If there’s any way I could help others from the lessons I’ve learned, research I’ve done, failures I’ve encountered, then I need to be more vulnerable and put myself out there further. As a starting point, one year ago the One Step blog was introduced.

One Step blog was intended to give small insights each week to take one more step towards the version of yourself you’re striving for. 54 blogs later, I’m extremely grateful for many of you helping create the Be An Accelerator community. The feedback, discussions, and curiosity the blogs have generated is exactly what Be An Accelerator is all about – finding ways to continue to propel one another forward. It doesn’t have to be some extraordinary change. Real progress happens one step at a time and the community we’re building continues to help generate momentum we need.

For this, I want to simply say, THANK YOU!

Life will always be far from linear – there will always be disruption. How we respond to challenges. How we gain momentum from wins. How we approach each situation as an opportunity to learn and grow. All these little decisions add up to make a big impact, one step at a time.

Cheers to those on the less traveled path of continually taking on challenges for growth.
